Until recently, I was back and forth about any wallpaper. It just wasn't my cup of tea. I would always lean toward a fresh coat of paint to jazz up the space. Then, as I was scrolling through Pinterest for hours (as you do) just getting random home decor ideas, I found some stunning wall transformations all done with wallpaper. I was sold! All I do now is look for a cute wallpaper design and think about where could I stick it in my apartment (my husband doesn't know just yet what's about to happen :)).
Floral wallpaper acts not only as a piece of art, but it falls under one of the three basic elements of Biophilic Design - Indirect Experience of Nature. By mimicking colours and shapes you see in nature, it represents the natural world. Learn more about the easy ways you could implement Biophilic Design in your home in the previous post.
For those of you who are regular visitors, you probably already know how much I love plants, and for the new friends - welcome and buckle up, you'll be hearing a lot about them. :) That's reason number one why I've chosen the floral theme. The second reason is that floral prints have such a strong statement and bring joy to any space.
I found some adorable pieces I would love to share with you. If you fancy any of them, I will leave the link below to take you straight to the maker.

Usually, when I design, I fall in love with one item, and the whole design gets soaked within the style of that particular piece. If you have a similar approach, maybe it would be good to start with the wallpaper colour scheme and work your way from there.
It's incredible how one wall can change the whole look and feel of the room. Let me know in the comments below what type of wallpaper will you go for. If you need any help choosing, please email me at info@barbuliannodesign.com.
