Indoor plants are a perfect solution for small studios or any open-concept apartment that needs some privacy. They are the most beautiful and the healthiest way to break up the space without visually reducing the size of it. Plants also act as functional highlight that can transform your home completely.

Although I have nothing against fake plants, I believe you should give a chance to the real ones. Trust me, it pays off and it's really not that hard to become a good plant parent. Check out how to choose the right plants and why are they so important for the indoor environment.

Why you should use real plants as a room divider:

  • better air quality

  • it reduces noise

  • better temperature balance

  • it acts like an extra insulation

  • better sleep quality

Things you could use for a plant room divider:

  • Freestanding Coat Rail

  • Tall Shoe Rack

  • Book Shelf

  • Ceiling hooks with ropes

  • Install the large custom frame made of pipes

  • Modular cubes

  • Large wine cabinet

Plants provide just enough privacy without making you feel claustrophobic. You could also add a string of fairy lights to get cosy magical effect. If you wish to go a step further and be even more adventures, how about growing your own vertical garden as a room divider? Read all you need to know about indoor vertical garden.

Firstly I made the sketch and after the actual design of my own version of a room divider using only one type of flower - Baby's breath, jute string, coat rail and fairy lights. I was picturing minimal, subtle and bright room divider.

I think we should all try and experiment sometimes with unconventional solutions and see what comes out of it. I feel that's the only way to expand your creativity and let your mind wander. Who knows, you might end up with something awesome!
